Invitation "to the Celebration of the 25th
Wedding
Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Jesurun
on August 28, 1854".
These were Mongui Maduro's maternal grandparents:
Jacob A. Jesurun.
Jacob A. Jesurun belonged to the Liberal
Dutch Jewish Reformed Community in 1864. He was chief partner in the then

Décembre 1886".
Various forms of Curaçao Jews,
among others D[avid]. A[binun]. de Lima & Co., are encountered in New
York in the second half of the 19th century. They conducted a prodigious
business with their representatives and relatives in Curaçao, in
the Caribbean and Venezuela.
After his death in 1891 his three sons
took over the business and carried on trade with Venezuela, Colombia, Jamaica,
