Documentation and photo's of the visit
of Charles Lindbergh to Curaçao.
He landed on September 28, 1929 near the
Scadta Island in the Schottegat Bay, together with his wife and Mr. and
Mrs. Juan Trippe, President of "Pan-American-Airways Inc."
After making a tour of Willemstad, they
visited the palace of the Governor of Curaçao, Mr. L.A. Fruytier
and the mansion of Mr. and Mrs. S.A.L. (Mongui) Maduro at Scharlooweg 104.
